ACNE TREATMENT

Acne affects millions of people of all ages and for various reasons. The development of acne can be associated with follicular plugging, excess sebum, inflammation and the presence of Propionibacterium acnes (P. acnes). P. acnes is a naturally occurring bacterium found on the skin, in pores and sebaceous glands.
When dead skin and sebum become trapped and block the pores, P. acnes rapidly multiplies, causing follicle damage and inflammation.
At Avadra, we use Peels, Medical-Grade skincare and Broadband Light technology treatment that specifically targets this acne causing bacteria (blue light), and inflammation (red light). Broadband light therapy has been proven to be a safe and effective treatment for active acne. We use this treatment in combination with medical-grade skincare regime that will reduce future breakouts from occurring. Multiple treatments are required, 1-2 times per week, depending on the severity, however we put together acne packages at an affordable rate as we recognize that everyone deserves to have clear, healthy looking skin!
